they will have different flow rates .
to run it off the canister with a T will either restrict the flow through the canister or too much flow for the regulator
Even it I regulate the refractors with a flow control? I will just have to grab another in water pump.

I am on the fence about an inline UV sterilizer. Any suggestions on the items I have added and the equipment? Thanks again for all your support.

This is all the stuff I have added and the second pick is what I will add in a week or so. After that, I am not going to add anything else for a while. Unless suggested by you guys with coral or anemones to add.

I have that same tank. I drilled mine and have a 29 gallon sump. I have to agree with the hob skimmer, at some time or another a skimmer will overflow. If you want pictures any any advice about drilling a tank let me know. I’m on my 2nd 75 gallon and drilled both.

I am nervous about that as well and wanted to drill but the tank had a sticker on it that said no drilling. Would had much rather had a sump. If I ever get another tank it will be reef ready. All advice welcome and if I run into problems then if I can drill it I will. I also called a reef shop and asked him to drill it. He said he does do this but that my tank was most likely tempered.

Please be careful with vispectra lighting, they are great lights but very powerful, I have only one for my 45g and it works great, please start off low with these as they can burn corals and create algae blooms in an instant (my own fault by playing with settings)
But looks like a great start :)
Definitely following :)
Wish you the best success

The tank has a tempered bottom for sure but the sides are probably not tempered, no guarantees. There is a polarized glasses test with a lcd screen just look up on YouTube. How long have you had water in it.

Thank you for the advice and the support. I will definitely introduce the light slow. Do you have a height that worked with these lights for you? This forum has been the best.

That is what I thought too and tried the test...Just wasn't confident in what my eyes where telling me. I have had it full of water for a few days. It took me three to get it full haha with the reverse osmosis.

I might look for a modification or auto pump shutoff on the skimmer if it gets close to overflowing. Maybe with a something like a raspberry pi and a water sensor.

I would not add any of these hermits crabs/ snails until you have built up some algae for them to eat, altough they do eat scraps and supplements the survival rate in a new/ clean aquarium is poor.
Maybe wait until your aquarium is more matured (I cycled my aquriam empty for 8 months) and then clean up crew (cuc) when you have enough algae for them to graze on

I have Dwarf red legged, Dwarf blue legged, electric blue, Halloween hermit, various snails and various crabs (cuc)

Besides algae for them to eat/graze you need to also provide plenty of shells/ new homes... This will help with aggression towards each other :)

I don't think you should introduce any cuc at this stage of your aquarium :)

I was thinking the same thing. My tank is 2 months old and I'm finally seeing a little bit of fuzz on a few rocks. I'm going to seed some pods now since they finally have a little bit to eat.
