That was the best photo I could take before I took out that piece of macroalgae it was on. I am going to keep a close eye, and if I see more I will probably get a peppermint shrimp.

Is it normal to have this much evaporation over night? Thought there was a leak but check salinity had gone up to about 37-38ppm.

One of my nano tanks open top was using 1 litre a day. I fitted a evaporation tray on top and it solved my problem. I all so use a auto top up on my tanks keeps salinity bag on all the time . Just my experience with evaporation.

have you had this before. With a lid on that should slow evaporation down. Hopefully you will get more reply’s

I am used to about a cup a day, so this event was rather bizarre.

Decent, I need a better test kit, the LFS gave me some crazy readings the other day. I say Nitrate around 5-15ppm, everything else solid. I keep SG around 1.023-1.024.
