ESHOPPS Mariner 70 Build

New camera for the printer arrived today. You have to remove every panel from the printer to get to the screws to remove the one panel that has to be removed to replace the camera...

Now I have to remove the auxillary fan but I'm heading to a meeting so the flashlight is charging and hopefully the work will be accommodating tomorrow afternoon when I get home from work. Except I might have another meeting tomorrow, I don't remember.

Maybe make a video of replacing the camera. Not with the camera though.

After all that, it turns out the camera was just unplugged... 🙄 Oh well, now I have a spare!

I'd call that a win/win. Get to learn about the machine and a free camera!

Wonder what they sell for on the Bambu site or if they even sell them.

My AquaRocks rock shelf got so heavy it fell off the glass and refused to stay. Unfortunately, in the process I lost about half of my Birdsnest - ok, maybe not half and definitely not the mother colony. I'll try to get some pictures later but I guess this now means I have some room for one or 2 more corals...

There's some window glare BUT the left side. The Slimeball will likely stay where it is but it's currently just sitting there and can be relocated. Below that is a great place for a Hammer or Torch I'm thinking. Also, left and behind the Duncan there's a spot under the Stylophora for the Orange Lithophyllon currently on the stand front and middle in the sand.

Also started printing something:

And ran a few tests:

😬

I dosed some Alk, calcium, and magnesium and topped off the dosing containers (they've been empty for a month or 2, oops!). I suppose I may want to add some PhosBond...

Very interesting print.

My kids like the "How to Train Your Dragons" movies. The main, black dragon, Toothless, has a girlfriend in later movies. I'm printing one of those. It's a "Flexi" so it moves.

Haha! It's not really gross, just sounded fun!

That looks great Tim. Now I want a 3d printer....

Have your sun Corals been popping out at all? I ordered those black ones I was telling you about. 😬

If mine never come out they're just going to look like black barnacles lol

My Yellow ones open twice a day that I've seen - once around 2 or 3 in the afternoon for a couple of hours (I think it coincides with the Plank feeding) and then once again around 20-30 minutes after lights out. The pink ones in the 8 gallon I have never seen open but they have been close several times late at night - 1 or 2 in the morningish.
