Excited but Serious Newbie

Hello! My name is Andres and I am brand new to the hobby when an opportunity arose from a colleague to inherit their saltwater tank as they had to move. Being experienced with freshwater tanks, having always wanted to have one of these, having watched all the BRS videos I could watch for years and being prepared to spend more than I care to share, I made the jump and am praying it will pay off in happiness lol

Welcome to the community Andres! You will definitely find all the help, advice, tricks, and sales here on the forums! Since you're wanting to do a mixed reef, I highly suggest checking out the sponsored posts area in the marketplace. A lot of the big vendors will do a sale (or auction) at least one a month it seems, and they give you the opportunity to win gift cards (usually $25 or $30 depending on the vendor) and that's really helpful when you're just starting out!!
