I always thought the "E" is for electronic, meaning the bulb is suitable on m59 and/ or electronic ballasts...(?)
That's right off Ushios site.
I thought the same, lol.

This is what the 2 edge and RB will look like.
I will get a pic with all on in a few days.

My M135 ballast came. I had an old hps ballast that It will fit in.
Just need to figure out how to wire it now.
Bottom pic is M135 ready for wiring.

If you look at the wires very closely, I think it says what they are. Alternatively, spread them all out and send picture. And one of schematic on ballast.

Thanks. I will look at it when I get home later today.
They are marked.

Below is a wiring diagram for that Sylvania ballast. The wires are all marked/labeled. The ballast label can be a little confusing, some of the Sylvania ballasts made by ISB in Mexico shows an extra A2 wire coming off the secondary coil.

Thanks thats helpful.
Going to look at it now.

Yesterday I ran the Radium on the M135 ballast to compare.
I was quite surprised at the par readings.
Direct center under the bulb I got 136 par with the electronic ballast.
With the M135 I got 100?
Seems quite low.
I got 188 center with the 10k Ushio.

The 24" Meridian edge bars are quite strong for what they are and should complement the 10k well.

Following along. MH fan dating from way back from the far away hills.

I forgot to mention.
With the 10k par was 188 and when I turned on both edge bars at 75% par was 320.

I am looking at the new Tunze ORCA. If it will fit my euro brace I will get the 6105 version when it arrives stateside.
With the 6105 and the ORCA the cost is about the same as my Sea Sweeps with no pump.

Sea Sweep only goes 90°. The ORCA does 180°.
