So I just added a tri color fairy wrasse to my tank yeaterday immediately when put him into the tank he went into hiding that night when I put the blue lights on he came out and was swimming a little bit this morning I would of expected him to be out he was hiding behind this rock not moving much at all I thought he was dead so I got clear airline tube to reach the spot he was at to see if he would move and after a couple times he came out to the front of the tank and just kinda sat on the sand bed he then after a min went back behind the same rock his fins aren't moving he's not swimming or moving from the spot is this normal or is he on his way out

I have a Hoevens wrasse that i added to my tank that did the same thing the best thing to do is just wait it out. I didnt see the wrasse for a week. He still is getting used to the tank and the presence of seeing me around the tank. Its all part of the saltwater fish tank waiting game. Just be patient and dont chase it. Or its just gonna take longer.

No quarantine :(

Wrasses do that, now not all but most.
Just feed frozen Mysis for a few days and they will come out, won't take long before they get hungry.

While you at it pick up some garlic drops from either Aquaforest or a other brand Garlic Extreme in order to soak your frozen food, it will trigger them to eat when they smell the garlic.
