Tried to acclimate 2 females and this male in hopes of them breeding and becoming a food source with the babies but the females only lived about 4 weeks and only breed once. Was just a theory.

Tri it again!Mollies will live in SW really easy,its best to put them in a sump and then fish out babies and put out in the top a few days later!

Also-Your Red Digi-thats not a Digi,thats a nadosa(Speel check).Digi's grow in a upward pattern and dont encrust alot either!

sounds like a good idea, always wanted to set up some mollys for sw in basement just for babys.

I have a small piece of setosa and they dont look alike to me. I thought montipora Digitatas would encrust and then begin to branch but I could be wrong. I have never had any so hard for me to say. Any other ID feed back would be appreciated.

Setosa's are not a nodosa(spell check) species,its montipora setosa and thats the name its carried for a few years now ever since Eric C. imported the colony,and him and Tyree belived it to be the setosa sp.

The setosa also dosent have 2 tone polyps,which is a common id. of the nodosa.Most will have darker polyps than the base coloration.

The digitata's will encrust but not like your piece you belive to be a digi.Im almost 100 % that your coral is a nodosa.

Kewl I will do some research and see what I can find out as well. Thanks guys for some reference points to begin searching from.
