Finally back into this hobby

I hope so, my fish only tank was pretty awesome back in the day, but reefs are a little different. I'm sure if I hang out in here enough, it'll come to me. I think my biggest downfall is my lack of patience. I'm an immediate gratification kind of guy and this hobby is definitely not meant to be rushed.

Yup, lack of patience is a problem in this hobby. Learn to enjoy it for what it is, a hobby... something that you spend a good deal of your free time doing because you enjoy it. Nothing good in this hobby happens fast. I started a new tank build last fall, I'm about a month away from putting water in it. What's the rush?

Hey gang, I've been lurking here for a few now and thought it was about time to out myself. I had a 180 fish only yank about 20 years ago, but sold it when we moved to Florida. Finally starting over. Beginning with a 90 cube mixed reef, most likely setting up a 220 in the future. Still im the cycling stage of the 90. Be forewarned, everything has changed in 20 years so I'll probably be hitting you up with a lot of crazy questions. Thanks in advance and looking forward to getting to know you all

Hi Shadowspop,

Welcome back to the hobby:)
I hope this forum will help you a lot ...What fish do you plan to have?
