so i finally upgraded to a 38 gallon..i got deep blue solar xtreme t5ho lights and just a heater and some live rock for now so i can start cycling as for flow and hob skimmer not sure what to get anyone have any suggestions

I'd recommend some test kits and some powerheads at this point. You'll want to test your water parameters regularly to get them locked in.

What kind of livestock will you be getting? Those pumps will look pretty huge in a 38g.

What test kits do you own? How old are they, as they do have a shelf life.

its the api test kit bought it in january ... not rele sure on stocking as far as fish...as for coral mostly softies maybe a few sps and a rbta from my old tank eventually in about 6 months .. would like some clams but not sure if this light is strong enough its 39w x4 but the tank is around 20 inches deep
