Hello everyone,
I have been using reef to reef for nearly 6 years now But never once made a post. I would like to introduce myself and my tanks. I am 18 years old and currently studying Marine Sciences at Stony Brook University. I have been a reef aquarium hobbyist since age 12 and the hobby has guided my life since. I only owned nanos until I upgraded to a 60 gallon. The 60 gallon is a mixed reef setup. Over the last two years I have tracked the progression of all my tanks on instagram and TikTok, reef.cloverson. I am glad to now share my experiences to reef 2 reef, never too late! I am looking forward to meeting and learning from new people through this platform. I attached some pictures of my tanks and fish room!
Specs of the 60 gallon:
Seapora 60 gallon Frag aquarium
2 Radion XR15’s
1 15 inch Reef Brite
Reef Octopus classic 110INT 4” Internal Protein Skimmer
Eco tech Marine M2 return pump
Jebao SDW-16 Wave Maker
~60 pounds live rock
~50 pounds of sand
I have a wide array of frags I am growing out, from softies to acros.
Fish:
2 Ocellaris Clownfish
1 scopas tang
1 Sailfin tang (No Aggression from the two, do not crucify me tang police)
1 Mandarin Goby

It’s been a bit over a year since I first posted this 60 gallon system. This is how far we have come in a year.
I have added a lot of acropora and built up my LPS, mushroom, and zoa collection. I have tracked all new additions on my other socials. Here are some pictures
