Am very naive when it comes to a forum. Don't know what I'm doing or if I'll see anything back from this. Anyhow, currently have a 300 gallon goldfish pond by the front porch as well as a 125 gallon cichlid tank. Just purchased a used 93 gallon Marineland cube off Craigslist and still well over $2,000 later believe we have about everything necessary to start the saltwater tank (new stand, sump, pumps, filter, heaters, RO/Di, dry rock, live sand, etc). Quite the learning curve, but taking it a step at a time. Initially thought we'd just do a FOWLR, but have the equipment and the interest at this point in delving into the reef instead. Much to learn, including the forum curve....

Welcome to R2R! What lighting do you have or plan on getting if you plan on going reef?

Thanks and yes, I have figured out the confusion of asking questions and muddling through the answers, lol

Thank you!! Take your time and be patient. Best advice I ever got!
3 bits of advice which have stood me in good stead...

Nothing good happens quickly.

We keep water, not fish; get the water right and your animals will thrive.

Observe... an hours observation will tell you more than a years worth of test results.
