So, I have a 40 gallon breeder which is a predator reef. Right now, I have a 14" Dwarf Golden Moray Eel, 4.5" Dwarf Zebra Lionfish, and a 3" Humu Trigger. Humu is just there for grow out (Going to be in there for a long time though due to extremely slow growth). However, I want to add some color to this tank and I'm talking fish, not my super expensive acro frags. Are there any colorful fish (preferably pink, like a fairy wrasse) that can get along with these predators and stay within 6"?

Any fairy wrasse that is appropriate for a 40g will be at a risk with the lion, any fairy wrasse that is too big to be eaten will be too big for a 40g.

Sorry for the misconception. I'm not saying I should get a fairy wrasse because that would be very stupid in my part. I'm looking for fish that can be as beautiful as one. I don't think 6" is too big for a 40g breeder and I highly doubt that my lion would eat a fish that big, it doesn't even eat my humu. Oh, and my humu tends to chase fish in its territory, but never touches anything if out of its turf. I just want a colorful fish (preferably pink LIKE most fairy wrasses) but can also handle predator fish. If it happens to be a fairy wrasse, ok then that's cool. If there isn't any fish that is to my liking though, just tell me so. However, the ocean is vast, I'm sure that there is a fish out there that fits my description. Maybe.

Marine Betta would fit just fine. Very slow. Maybe even a dwarf frog fish 2-3"max. Some puffers will have good color and even better personality.

Ooh, great suggestions, will definitely consider it. However, I already keep these types of fish in different tanks. Although, it doesn't hurt to keep another one in a different tank. Any other suggestions?

My hawkfish has some pink on him. You could get a flame hawkfish or falco hawkfish. Those two usually come into my LFS large enough that they wouldn't be eaten by a dwarf fuzzy lionfish. Tons of personality too.
