I'm currently upgrading to a 7 gallon and everything from my previous 3 gallon(liverock, coral, snails, hermits) is in a bucket with a powerhead and a heater. Would they be able to survive in the bucket for a day?

Tge powerhead should have provided enough air exchange on it's own, but adding an air pump isn't a problem either.

I have moved fish to Los Angeles from the midwest in a bucket with an airstone. All of them made it just fine. You should be okay!
