Flat-packed sturdy 2x4 stand

Would you buy a flat-packed, sturdy 2x4 frame stand kit?

Just a random thought I had recently. Why doesn't anyone sell flat-packed 2x4 framed stands? Why is almost everything cheap particle board (looking at you, red sea...)? Is there a market for higher-quality flat-packed stands? For example, it probably cost me ~$100 in materials to build my 48" long 24" wide ~42" tall frag tank stand. Is there a market for truly sturdy, pre-cut, pre-drilled custom stand kits? I'd imagine this kit including all pre-cut, pre-drilled 2x4 and stainless steel screws, with options for pre-cut top and bottom sheet lumber, and levelling pads. Like Ikea for reefing, except with sturdy, quality materials!

Would you buy one? If no, why not? If so, how much would you be willing to pay, for example a stand this size?

Great thought!!!

I like woodworking and I have had the same thought to flat-pack stands. Not for profit or anything, I just see reef keepers who are clearly not woodworkers struggling with how to build a stand, and I thought I could help :)

I'm not sure about the above comments asking for removable side panels. This basic 2x4 stand design (typically the @RocketEngineer's design seen here) would allow for any kind of doors you wanted, magnetic or otherwise.

Here's my most recent build, and I don't claim to be a real woodworker and I obviously know nothing about finish carpentry. Not a typical stand per se, but the small "pedestal" under the tank is RocketEngineer inspired, and the cabinet door panels are in place using magnets and they easily come off to reach equipment.

Thank you! Again, I don't consider myself a master craftsman, but I do like to make some saw dust from time to time :)

And I have had the same idea to pre cut and drill 2x4's for reefers that want a cheap, solid DIY stand, but don't get that a 2x4 isn't really 2"x4" lol!
