Flippers reef 125 gallon

Okay, but there's ways around that. At least in theory. Lol. I've heard dripping soda ash may help. Fresh air line outside......etc.
I don't struggle with low ph and I'm never dropping the GEO... :D

Milo update:

Wife took him to the vet yesterday for his next round of shots. Became lethargic and felt like he was running a fever. She took him back and confirmed he's got a allergic reaction to the shots and he's got a urinary tract infection. So hes on antibiotics and Benadryl. Otherwise he's growing and is healthy. 20+pounds at 3 months old!

Caps still recovering from kalk paste burn from killing manjaro's, but are showing improvement. Just slow.

Pink birdnest needs trimming and German blue digitata will need to go when I do my reset for acro's come end of the year. Just grows like a weed!

Milo says hi!

Awesome. Are they in a dark zone, or are they photosynthetic?

Stays pretty much dark down there most of the time. There is some indirect light from a basement window.

Nice. I’m incorporating a fully blacked out 29g as a cryptic zone. Excited to see what grows there

Most of these sponges like it dark. Your cryptic zone will harbor all kinds of life. Sponges, copepods, amphipods, worms, starfish, worms......etc.

Yeah, hopefully it’s going to become full of weird and wonderful stuff. Going to seed it with some sponge rocks from the dude who’s website I’ve forgotten
