Flippers reef 125 gallon

Forgot to attach the picture;)

I’m going to test the tank again later to see what the heck going on with my zoas!

Red bugs have been taken cared of by the newly acquired 6-line wrasse. That thing is a beast lol

Great idea with the taller sump. Initially watching I was thinking oh your sump is pretty high, I just figured you had this tank lying around then when you mentioned why it really sparked my interest. This is really thought out well. If only I had a basement. I will definitely remember this in the next house..

The sump as meant to be my display. It was used and very dirty. When I got it home and cleaned it, it was obvious it was not going to be good enough as a DT. I said to myself, "Okay, I'll make it my sump!". Wasn't my intention, but it worked out very well.

Are those hardy? They look beautiful!

Thanks, they were very healthy looking when I picked them out at our local swap. Since they have done very well in my tank.

Very nice! I love acans, but so do my angels [emoji37]

How many fish do you have in there? With all those corals it’s hard to tell if they are all just hiding, or if you only have a few lol

There's eight fish, with my Tomini tang being the largest.

Well the good people at Inkbird contacted me some time ago and wanted me to do a review here on Reef2reef on their new heater controller, the ITC 308 WI FI. I agreed to do so and they sent me the unit.

Now I had a standard ITC 308 sometime ago and it worked well for about six months, but it started to drift and would require adjusting it's calibration. Over the course of a couple of months of this, it maxed out and I could no longer use it.

I told them of the problems with the old unit and would be fair in my review of the WI FI unit. They apologized for the problems with the old unit and still agreed to send me the new unit. We'll see how it goes. I'll get to it tomorrow.

My Rainbows (which bloom red in the daylight) were getting a big hug from a Turbo snail this morning.

Nice acans Brian! I want to do more colonies of them in different colors!
