G5 diffusers

Does anybody know if the G4 diffusers will work on the new G5?

I think they are different. The 1-4 are compatible, it looks like the 5 plate is different. But maybe someone else tonight will know. The 5 diffuser says it only works on the 5

They are different but the 5 diffusers are cheaper than the previous.

Dang I always heard the point of the G5 was not needing a diffuser

I bought some to try on my G3 XR30's. It is definitely doable but whether they do what is intended and handling the cooling aspects are the questions i have. I may just have to try a par meter and see what it looks like on a temporary mount.

Not sure if it is on the fixture or built in so that it may not be needed. They are sold separately and not really compatible with any other models.

If I remember correctly they have diffusers that are removable but also sell the diffuser separately so you can have 2 on a fixture

The Radion G5's do not come with diffusers. They light is more diffused than the previous generation but the fixtures do not come with the diffusers that are being sold separately.

I have had a pair of diffusers on order now for about a month. Hopefully Bulk Reef can start shipping them out soon so that I can add them to my G5's.

I got mine from Marine Depot. Trying them out on my G3's.
