Speaking of games.... Destiny 2 should be ready and waiting on my PS4 when I get home. Would much rather play it on my XB1 but the exclusive agreement with Sony is awful.

So whay do you think about Destiny 2? I've been playing destiny since 2014 and was really looking forward to D2. But sadly i lost interesst after only a few days.

Burning Crusade was my favorite expansion.

It was probably the best. It was right before the era of high dependency on mods. We had mods in vanilla but nothing at the level of what appeared post Burning Crusade.

I'm not even sure what I think about Destiny 2. I maxed out to level 20 and enjoyed the story campaign much more than D1. The shooting mechanics are as good as any game I've played. When I played the Star Wars beta last weekend I wished gunplay was as good as in D2. What I do find is that something about the game is just not as fun but I can't put my finger on it. I'm not sure if it is the crazy slow recharge rate on grenades or something else, but the game itself just seems to be missing something. The one thing I really disliked about D1 was the massive grind to get loot. In D2 I think they went too much in the other direction. Once you get close to the max light level there isn't much to strive for. The loot feedback loop is broken for me. Really, I would like to do the raid at least once, but there is nothing else that comes close to pulling me back into the game.

I've never played Destiny and don't plan on it, it's the most overhyped game I have ever seen. Plus it's a console game and consoles will never be as good as PC.

I used to play WoW hardcore from Vanilla to BC before Blizz decided to cater to casual cry babies. I used to also play CS competitively back when bunny hopping was actually a thing.

Currently I play Fortnite, used to follow GTAV RP and tried it but it was too cringe and boring.

FYI, Destiny 2 comes out for PC soon so this version isn't just a PC game.

WoW always catered to casual cry babies. Its major draw was how easy it was. That is why it stole the market from Everquest.

This is coming from someone who played EQ from the beginning through the first 8 or so expansions and WoW from vanilla through WotLK.

They can't help it if it makes the money. ;)
I'm glad they did make WoW easy mode. I no longer had the time to dedicate to gaming which is why I switched from EQ.

It's a console port to PC, and the majority of the fanbase are console players. WoW used to be good and challenging during the times I mentioned. SSC, Hyjal, TK, BT all pre nerf were not accessible by anyone other than hardcore guilds, which I was a part of and Top 60 in the US.

The story campain was better in d2 but still alot unexplained. Not as bad as this though...."i dont have time to explain wy i dont have time to explain"
I agree. Super and grenade recharge is way to slow in D2 and the gameplay in generall feelt slower in d2. I whent back to d1 after a few days and there was a big difference.
The weapon system also felt way to weird for me. I wanted to use sniper but in most cases it was better with shotgun or launcher.
Exactly, they removed the excitment for rare drops. Allready day 3 all weapons were either legendare or exotic.
I've only watched the full raid and to be honest i was not impressed at all. And as most d1 friends never bought d2 my only choice was to play with randoms which i know would have been a pain.
Another huge misstake in d2. No new enemies. They should have given us a huge d1 dlc instead.

Well I guess i'm just stuck in d1 and therefor could not enjoy all the changes.

Same here, I would never do it again, but the accomplishments were satisfying!

I didn't play the PC version of D2 but a few friends played the Beta and said it was very promising and didn't feel like a port. Most of them are big CoD fans which I never got into.

I did all of the content in WoW and I wouldn't have called the guild I was in hard core. None of the content was very difficult. WoW had nothing like The Plane of Fear in EQ where you couldn't even try without 40 people who could dedicate 12 hours. A single wipe could set you back 6 more hours. That is hard core.

WoW had 40 man too, BWL, MC, AQ, I think EQ is more hardcore from what I have heard, never played it myself.

Did you play Burning Crusade pre nerf? Most people don't even know the BC Archimonde in Hyjal, only the WoD version. We killed him before he was nerfed, it took Nihilum 79 Days to down him. Same with SSC, when you had to be attuned to the zone before even entering it. Lady Vash was not easy, neither was Illidan but im talking strictly pre nerf.

I had all 3 Tier sets of my class, I had the Druid Staff Pillar of Ferocity on a Shaman before any Druid outside our guild on the server had it, it was great! Those were the good ol days.

I played WoW from day 2 through the majority of the WotLK content so I did the content both pre and post nerf. We were a top 10 guild on the server for most of that time before we all started getting married and having honey do lists. I don't think I ever completed my Tier 3 set.

What made EQ ridiculously hard was the penalty for dying. You lost all your equipment and some of your experience. To get your stuff back and regain some experience you had to recover your body. You might need to spend 40 hours leveling back up and getting new equipment after a bad night of raiding. Absolutely merciless. There were alliances set up between guilds for no other reason than to help recover bodies if a raid went bad.

Nice! Wow, I can't imagine that, the only thing I can relate is in Diablo doing PvP and getting PK'd while trying to get your body back, resulting in your first body exploding dropping all the gear you have put hours into getting and being stolen! hahahah

The only real multiplayer/co-op game I've got is rocket league for xbone, anyone else on here play?

FILTHY CASUALS AND THEIR MACROS!

You guys should try Fortnite, it is SO much fun, and its FREE! Its available on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and MAC. Plus it also has a Battle Royale mode that even PUBG is feeling threatened by which is a joke in itself, nothing like trying to take ownership of a game mode that has been out for years before it.
