Giant bubble algae? ID m

I’m curious if anyone can tell me the scientific name of this algae? I was told it’s what’s called “giant bubble algae.” It’s a fairly fast growing algae, that does in fact have a similar appearance to bubble algae, except in that the “bubbles,” are not entirely sealed. I was removing a piece the size of what is pictured below about once per month. Incidentally, while dosing fluconazole for GHA, I completely eradicated the pictured algae in addition to the GHA.

Yes, lol! Good lord is right... When it first appeared, I had no idea what the heck it was. Alien cacoon?
