I have an IM Nuvo 20 and thinking of putting a glass or acrylic lid on it to keep evaporation down. Have any of you bought or built a lid for your nano tanks? What were your results? DIY or bought?

Lids tend to collect a lot of condensation, then grow algae reducing light into the tank and requiring maintenance. Net lids generally work the best, stoping jumpers, allowing lots of light in, allowing air exchange and due to evaporation help cool our tanks in the summer.

I know this is older, but acryilc is going to warp with only one side being exposed to high moisture levels. Glass is better IMO and would be fine if you kept it clean.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
