My wife called me at work and the "Stripey" has came in from Wisconsin.' :)
As Jackie says... "He's a good pooper" and there's a lot of waste in the clear bag.
So, I will not drip acclimate. Could raise the ph and get a ammonia spike while the little guy is in the bag. ;Dead

Will float and release.

Then heading back to work. :(
Haha, I'm glad to hear he arrive alive and well! [emoji1]

Our 13 month year old French Bulldog snuck into the shoot. I wanted to name him Neyland for UT
But.. Was over ruled and his name is Oakley. Our youngest granddaughter calls him Pupa.
So (lol) I just call him Pupa or Oak.

Got home from work tonight and another large aiptasia is gone from the same rock. ;Woot ;Woot

Fed the fish some LRS "Reef Frenzy" this evening and the "Stripey" went nutz ;Wacky and loved the LRS.

Looks like things have calmed down with the pbt and the reef has gone back to peace. Everyone is just doing their own thing.

Hows does GoVols re-charge, rinse Purigen and tune in the reactor???

Well (lol)... this is going to be along and many post to get it done.
Re-charging one week early to see if buying the 500ml bottles worked and it did.

So, I will not be buying anymore 1000ml bottles that have all the tiniest beads settled at the bottom of those bottles.

Almost bought the Spyglass but it works in the sump (it would fit but very tight) and if the Purigen beads went over the top of the Spyglass...

Also, I can run the Aquamaxx with my main return pump anyways just like the GFO reactor.

Please bare with me, a lot of postings and pictures as we go. :)

Rinsing the Purigen:

I use one of my 220 mesh filter socks to rinse the Purigen, just a little bit at a time.
Hopefully you can see how much Purigen is at the bottom of the "dirty" filter sock as I do the rinsing.

Well, Good luck ;Wacky with pouring Purigen into a reactor with a filter sock, while keeping your finger over the down pipe.

So, I start to pile up the rinsed Purigen into a plastic container as I keep rinsing.

All done rinsing and Yes, that is a 1/4 cup "Cat" scoop that helps me fill the reactor. :)
