It's not strong enough for that tank. Lighting is just as important as chemistry and flow.So the fixture I have is no good ? Or like it’s not strong enough
Recently just bought the hygger light but I really don’t know what kind to byIf you have this in a biocube, there are some good and cheaper retrofitting options available to upgrade your lighting.
Is this on a Biocube?Recently just bought the hygger light but I really don’t know what kind to by
Yes before the hygger one I had a ni-crew lightIs this on a Biocube?
Not sure who does the best retrofit mods these days but I think Steve’s LED has a kit? I would look into mod options availableYes before the hygger one I had a ni-crew light

So Nicew model# N15120 is 120 watts, compare that to Hygger 32 watts.
Why aren't you using the Nicrew?

Answer these questions for us first:
- What is your alkalinity?
- What is your ph?
- what is your salinity?
- what is your phosphate?
- what is your nitrate?
- what is your temperature?
- what are you using for flow in the tank?
- Please provide a full tank photo as well as a video
- For the video, upload it to YouTube and provide a link, direct video uploads do not work great on this site
here's my advice as a relatively successful BTA keeper, I can offer more guidance if you answer the above questions:
- Don't remove the nem, it may recover if you take the right steps
- Don't try to feed it while it's struggling, that will only make matters worse
- If it recovers to the point that it is firmly attached, extended and healthy looking, and just lacking color, you can feed it a small piece (1/2" or smaller) of fresh, de-shelled raw shrimp to aid the restoration of zooxanthellae once a week
- you should soak the shrimp in a supplement for 10 minutes or so first, I use and recommend microvert: https://amzn.to/3SFpHqh
- If and when color is fully restored, you can continue this feeding regimen once a week, and increase the size of the piece of shrimp you feed slowly as the nem grows. If you feed too often or use pieces too big, the nem will likely regurgitate the food later.
- Get a better light, I recommend you consider these options:
- Noopsyche K7 mini: https://noopsychereeflight.com/prod...NP45nN5aWWQSH7UaE_AUIU1o2BRc4pzBgRrxNoXL_hLIO
