Hair Algae Problem

I have an outbreak of green hair algae and don't know what could be the cause. All of my parameters are spot on. I have a 75 gal with a 20 gal. sump and change 30 to 35 gallons every other week. I test my new salt water for Cal., Alk., Phosphate and Mag. My Phosphate test at 0. I am using IO salt and DIY 2part to supplement. I am running 2 X 250 radiums on an 8 hour cycle. I would appreciate all the help that I can get. Here are a few pictures of the algae.

I personally believe in a large clean up crew. so get more hermit crabs in there. The big ugly brown sea hair(slug) DEVOURS hair algae and only costs about 12bucks. sailfin tang too! good luck

What kind of flow do you have? I used to have problems with hair algae and increased my flow and it helped. And I agree with a huge clean up crew. For a 75 I would have at least 100-150 small hermits and 25-35 cerith snails. turbos are not as important IMO but I love cerith snails.

Looks like bryopsis. Do you have a closer pic? If it is bryopsis may be time for a heavy dosing of tech m.

I am using a Mag5 return pump and 2 Korilia 4's.

I wouldn't add anymore clean-up crew personally, you are just adding more creatures that are going to create more waste. Do a search on bryopsis and go from there.

its not bryopsis...dont freak him out. Just add a few mexican turbos and that will go away.

no need to freak lol Bryopsis is just a more scientific name, they are all familied together, there are at least 50, heres just a few of the more common
