Can we get a picture of the papa smurf? How long have you had it?
I got mine at RAP last October. Its pretty much the same but the frag plug is encrusted over.
I got this frag from POTO in Jan of this year. POTO Papa Smurf.

And second pic I picked up at a frag swap in Jan as well. Was sold to me as a Oregon Tort.

If I was a betting man, I'd say that's a Cali tort instead of an Oregon tort.

It could very well be. The green just started coming out about a month ago. and although I've heard some say that the Oregon tort does happen to get a bit of green from time to time, it's not as blue as some other Oregon torts I've seen posted.

Yeah, might be. Just give it a couple months to settle in your tank and you'll know. Oregon you can light it up with par.. It'll love every bit of it.

@FarmerTy That frag looks lovely! When HOTO got popular here I received so many messages for that coral so I ended up cutting the mother repetitively and eventually the mother just perished. Big mistake. But I'm so happy to see that the coral is still around.

It is solid blue and even some of the experienced and picky people who have gotten frags from me are impressed. It is as good as the hype.

I have gotten frags to:

FarmerTy

I will keep this going so that we can track some lineage... at least from my branch of the tree.

Do you have any more frags for sale?

Currently growing out TGC's Red Wing Mille which was pretty sought after from Dennis over at his law office aquarium. Once its grown enough to frag I'd be willing to trade.

Or if someone has a frag I can buy.

Finally starting to get some growth and even more importantly the best picture I have got of it yet, hardest coral I have ever tried to take a picture of, think it is almost the same color as a blue LED. Two attempts at trying to edit the color right both are close but not quit right

Great pic! Looks like the base color does have some green in it. I wonder if it will keep the green near the base branches as most color variants of this do as they grow.
