Been on the forum for a month or two I believe but never got around to introducing myself. Well, they call me Lobo Del Mar(wolf of the sea) at work hence the username but you can just call me Lobo or Wolf. I'm 24 will soon be 25 and I'm a newbie when it comes to having my own reef aquarium. Although I'm new to the hobby I've been around the live marine animal industry my whole life. My pops has worked for a well known wholesaler since before I was born(my mother used to help clean tanks while pregnant with me). Lol
I spent a lot of my childhood running around a warehouse full of exotic fish and the like. I loved the animals but never fully took an interest in keeping my own tank till a few months ago when I started working at the company. This wasn't my first time there; but I had a different outlook on life and had matured quite a bit since I last worked there which has made the experience much better.
I began to take a serious interest in coral husbandry which was my main responsibility prior to my leaving the company. I've begun learning everything I can from my colleagues as well as on my own and finally got myself a tank. I'll post pictures later.
So that's a little bit about me and how I got into the hobby.
Oh and I'm happy to say I am now in charge of the photography for their website. It's great to combine my favorite hobby with my new one.
Here's one of my photos.
