Hello getting back in

How’s everyone’s weekend going.
I am getting back into reef tanks it has been a while just wanted to say hello.
Should be a couple more weeks and it will be up and running

Still wanting on some plumbing fitting and
A ati sunpower 48” 8 bulb

I got the tank and stand local it’s a 80 gallon deep blue for ($150) not to bad of a deal

Nice setup, how long were you out of the loop? I was gone about 14 years and found out people don't use compact floresencts any longer.

I have been out since 2013
I got to t5 light setup for to good of a deal to pass on also I never really liked the look of led
I will run t5 until I can’t get bulbs any longer

That’s a great tank setup for reefing. I think the T5’s will be available for many more years unless the government decides to ban them.
