I just purchase the nano Red Sea reefer and I wanted some recommendations for the pumps, protein skimmer...the whole equipment list. Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated. I am planning on making this tank a clown/anemone tank. I already have the kessel 160 for the light.

Well your gonna need a powerhead, I recommend and MP-10 ( can't go wrong with that)
I have an aquamax HOB protein skimmer (one of the best HOB skimmers IMO)
Do your self a favor and buy good equipment upfront and you will be happier in the long run. Plus your tank will be heathier too!

What kind of light do you recommend for our new friend?

If you're gonna go for a skimmer, the AquaMaxx HOB is an amazing skimmer. It's quiet, a workhorse, and silent. It also has a low break in period, so it starts producing skimmate quickly compared to other skimmers like the Curve series. If you're going HOB and you're not used to skimmers, the AM is easy to set up. I got my buddy who's never used a skimmer before to set his up with no sweat. Protein skimmers can be very tricky and frustrating to get them to skim, especially if you're not used to them. Ask me if you want more advice on skimmers.

I think in sump skimmer would be best and the eshopps snowcone s 120 skimmer would be a perfect fit.
