Just added 20 red legged hermits and a lawnmower blenny Sunday. Hopefully they help!!

The blue legs are best for most algae but the lawnmower blenny will take care of it in short order. Mine had my tank clean in a couple of months. Now he and my Flame tang fight over algae.:rolleyes: Sink or swim, welcome to reefing;):)

Get Red Sea nopox! This stuff is amazing at reducing bio perimeters. I have a heavily stocked 35 (TV) and I feed tons. All it takes is 3 mill daily to get 2 N 0 P

Are you using gfo at the same time? Red sea says not to.

LOL. No. Red Sea dose it all! When you start with Red Sea it dominants N and helps P after 20-30 days it kicks in with P and just destroys it. I LOVE this stuff it's cheap, easy to adjust and provide amazing results!

You will need a predator for it to go away. Theres always food for it to grow.

I battled HA for the longest. Honestly, it wasnt the waterchanges that helped. I started carbon dosing and cut back on w/c then finally all HA fell off and into the filter sock when i blew them off the rocks and did one more last waterchange. My tank was 14 months in. Then once its gone continue with more waterchanges and check PO4 and NO3. A fully mature tank shouldnt have Zero.
