Hi guys,

Anyone know whether Haddoni or Gigantea carpets have verrucae.

I have one that has verrucae on the underside, but not the foot.. tentacles are somewhere in between Haddoni short and Gigantea long so not sure which.

Im siding with Gigantea because its tentacles do looks longer than a normal Haddoni and it has colour tips rather than the a solid colour..

Any other id support greatly appreciated!

hi there! what a pretty coral! haddonis and giganteas can both have varrucae, however it's not super common. i'd say you're most likely correct. from what i see, this mostly resembles a gigantea because of the tentacles

Thanks for the reply. Yeh the more it settles the more I’m sure it’s a gig. Although it shorter tentacles than some of the ones I’ve seen

Looks like a gig. They oftentimes have verrucae, and it's one key indicator versus haddoni.

almost certainly a gig, it started deflating and now undergoing treatment
