IME; mixing hermits & snails is a bad idea. The latter usually becomes Escargot. Either for their shell, food, or a combination of both. ;)

in my old tank...whenever i did a water change my turbo's would spawn. some would blow out eggs...and others clouds of sperm.

Blue legs are really good at eating snails FME. So are the hawaiian black and white legged. My scarlets do not too often, but hey, these guys are all scavengers and opportunistic feeders. :)
