Hello all, my husband and I (mostly my husband) set up this saltwater 65gal aquarium almost 3 months ago. Slowly but surely we are getting the aquarium to how we'd like it. Constantly learning from other threads, my husband snorts YouTube videos from BrsTv, and of course I think the best learning experiences comes from previous mistakes. We recently added the yellow watchman goby and shrimp this past weekend, the pair of frostbite clownfish have been there and usually the male (highly believe its male since the other usually calls the shots) stays above the redsea reefwave. Im very concerned that he may jump?? although its been 2 -3 weeks. He does goes to other áreas of the tank. My husband added Microbacter7 from brightwell and liquid phosphate remover today. Yesterday he added vibrant from underwater creation after a 5 gal water change. We know that we may past the "ugly stage" and would like to add coral in time and anenome.
The results are from todays test
Temp: 76.8
Salinity: 1.026
Phosphate: 0.11ppm
Alkalinity: 9.4 dkH

Any overall recommendations are welcomed. Thank you all and hope everyone and their tanks have a marvelous Monday!

Ps I wanted to add videos but not allowing me.

Welcome! I’m not 100% sure what your question is....are you asking if the clown will jump? If that’s the question, the answer would be, yes, it’s very possible. You should probably get a cover for the aquarium. Unfortunately, just about any fish could jump if they get startled or bullied, etc.

perhaps, I assumed incorrectly that quest, was short for question. If you really meant quest, it looks like you are on the right track :) (I’d still recommend a cover)

Welcome to R2R!!!
I’m sure you guys will enjoy your reefing journey. For gobies the recommendation is to have a net on the top to avoid the jumping. Many us learned this lesson the hard way.
