Hello R2R community,

I'm from Vegas, been reefing for about 4 years. Started a few years before that with fresh water planted aquariums. Was inspired by Takashi Amano to make a tank of my own. Raised Cherry shrimp and different mosses, switched over to fully planted with Ranchu Goldfish, then switched to Brackish with lots of driftwood/pleco's/ arowana's and low light bottom dwellers, pretty much covered all the freshwater areas to try out. Eventually after seeing the limitations on planted tanks & freshwater, I transitioned over to saltwater with the help of a very good friend. I wanted to use the various macro algae available to make a full on Lagoon style aquarium, complete with sea-grasses, macros, sps and lps. It was an easy and fun transition considering all the equipment I was using to keep freshwater plants, CO2 tanks, ph regulators/monitors, etc.

If you find any random weird macro algae growing in your tank and need advice or want to trade, send me a PM, we can work out a trade if it's a species I'm after 1smile1
