We found these weird things on a gold hammer at the store. No clue what they are. Any ideas? Thanks yall

He scraped at them with his thumb (the guy that belongs to the hand holding the hammer that is) and they didn't come off. They are both redish in color and pretty well attached. We were thinking eggs of some sort too, but can't think for the life of me from what. They are pretty cool looking right?

I don't know how big they'll get. It looks like a cool Botryllus, but I wouldn't be able to tell species and I could also be wrong on the genus. That's what they remind me of, though. Either way, it's a nice colonial ascidian tunicate.
