Asterina. They will split and maintain a population in your tank if you let them. Some species are suspected of eating zoanthids. Many people consider them a pest, others don't mind them.

Up to you, but I think I would lean towards getting rid of it.

Thanks for the response guys!
It does have a pattern on its back and was wondering if it was a more desirable baby starfish.

However, if its an Asterina, then I would probably also lean towards chucking it.
