Hitchhiker? ID please

While dipping one of my corals I picked up a couple of those became visible.

What are those?
Good or bad?

looks to be a rather large brittle star.... there good scavengers... if its a mini brittle there good also.... just watch the green brittles they like to eat fish...

I think you'll find that these are some of the best scavengers that the hobby has to offer.

Isn't that a banded serpant star? Still a great scavenger, but they get quite large - bigger than your hand.
