I just went from a 20 cube to a 120. I started moving my fish and coral banded shrimp. They are all doing well, but the uneaten food for the fish doesn't make it to the bottom of the tank, but goes into the sump and filter. By the time the fish have eaten , the rest gets swept up with the flow and very little falls to the ground. It seems the shrimp isn't getting his share of food that he used to. Is there a "sinking food" ( I feed Rods to my fish) that anyone recommends? Or a way to get the food to the cave he is hanging out in?

Couldn't you just pipe down some pellets or something into his cave? I'm not sure how deep your tank is, but some pvc pipe and a funnel should work. Just pour whatever kind of food you want down the tube and hold it in place until it comes out the bottom. Piece of cake.

I do turn off the pump when I feed on occasion. I like the pipe idea. I'll give that a shot.
