I am 25 going on 26, born in 1996. I assume this puts me in the younger crowd here? But I’ve been wanting my own tank since I was maybe 9, that was a bit before Finding Nemo came out.

Ohhhhh Nooo. I will be 73 this Christmas Day. I will have to give my tank away. Does anyone want it?Edit: 72 years, three months, four days, six minutes, and a half a second old. Anyone older is too old.
I was growing softies and easy LPS in the first year in my original tank and it was a 38 gallon so it filled out quicker than a big tank.Just wondering how old is too old to start in this hobby? Water has to be changed, takes years to see corals and fish grow, a ton to learn, breeding, etc.? Does it make sense to jump when older?
I love it!!!!!Live for today .
do what you can today , as tomorrow isn’t promised for anyone .
do what makes you happy ,
If that means setting up a reef tank .. I say you only live once my as well enjoy it to the max
Happy reefing
If you want to and can devote a couple of hours a day DO IT!Just wondering how old is too old to start in this hobby? Water has to be changed, takes years to see corals and fish grow, a ton to learn, breeding, etc.? Does it make sense to jump when older?
