I was originally thinking bobbit but it doesn't really look like the pics I'm finding online. This one's arms are more like bristles and the head is shaped differently. Whatever it is I actually have a couple of them.. probably more I don't know about and they're big.... up to 6".

It’s going to be in the family of eunicidae, Marphysa Sanguinea has bristles for example.

Just saw a video of a Bobbit worm try to take out a porcupine fish. It failed. But it DID get a scorpion fish. Ocean inhabitants are NO JOKE man!

Wow. Thanks for posting that. Very cool to see and pretty convinced now I don’t have a bobbit.

What’s crazy is how big they are. There’s a few of them and tonight is saw the biggest one yet that was probably around 8-10”.

I tried grabbing it with some long tweezers but they’re fast! He vanished into the rock as soon as I got near him. Might pick up a bristle worm trap to see if that’ll work.
