Are these hydroids? If so do I need to worry and how do I get rid of them because they are everywhere in the sump

So I was just looking at some of the rocks in my DT and they are covering a lot of them. I have pretty bad brown algae so i think that’s why I haven’t seen them readilyAs long as you don't have a bunch of them in the display I wouldn't worry about it. If they become an issue discontinuing of any liquid or powder foods should help. If you're broadcast feeding switching to spot feeding would help. Increase of mechanical filtration. But like I said, if it's just the sump etc. I would do nothing.
Sounds like it's a new tank still maturing? They'll likely go away on their own but if you want to make them go now you can implement the methods I mentioned. So I was just looking at some of the rocks in my DT and they are covering a lot of them. Yes it is only about 4 months old now. I will try the method you suggested. Just getting paranoid of getting them and it turning into a real issue based on the threads I’ve read about them.Sounds like it's a new tank still maturing? I forgot to also say, manual removal. Just brush them off the rocks with a toothbrush if you like.Yes it is only about 4 months old now. I will try the method you suggested. Just getting paranoid of getting them and it turning into a real issue based on the threads I’ve read about them.
Would that hurt the tank ? Due to them being in the water column?I forgot to also say, manual removal. Just brush them off the rocks with a toothbrush if you like.
