Definitely velvet, can come in on ANYTHING wet... corals, inverts, live rock, etc.

Emergency treatment protocol is in post #2 here:
https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/velvet-amyloodinium-ocellatum.217570/

In addition to CP, I would make sure you have acriflavine and an antibiotic on hand... secondary infections are very common with velvet and can kill just as quickly.

I did a 5 minute FW dip, 90 minute bath in ruby reef really, now he's in QT with cupramine. I guess time will tell. Pintail is in the bath now. Is this enough oxygenation?

You'll probably want to add an airstone that makes fine bubbles and a powerhead for more surface agitation, o2 can get low quick in a qt tank with meds. You'll also want an ammonia alert badge and bacteria such as biospira, ammonia can build up quick especially with a Tang in a small tank

I just added an air stone inside the sponge filter.

Just a couple other suggestions, keep some heated saltwater handy for emergency water changes if you experience an ammonia spike and make sure to cover the tank with something like egg crate incase he decides to jump. And don't use prime for ammonia with copper, it's a toxic combo

I've got a makeshift cover. Foil wrapped cardboard. Cupramine is the only thing in the QT.
Definitely try to get some biospira to add right away, ammonia will start building up very quickly. Make sure there are plenty of holes in the cardboard so air can get to the surface of the water
