tube snails, harmless but sometimes the mucus net they put out can irritate corals

Thanks I cut them off once but they grew back.

You'll have to plug the hole with superglue or epoxy. The smaller ones like that I don't bother with, (they are very sharp though). There is a larger type that makes a nasty mucus net. I fill them with superglue gel if I can get the rock out and if not I use epoxy.
