She's a mini bernedoodle. at only a year old, she doesn't do much. I think her favorite thing is bedtime. crazy that she doesn't even bark.

They are such a beautiful fish. Definitely on my list when I upgrade next year!

It was 3/8” when I got it. Could fit on my fingernail. Now it’s 1.5”. Eats Mysis and pods. It’s still in my biocube. Wondering if it’s big enough to not be a meal for the snowflake. The snowflake doesn’t bother the shrimp or porcelain crabs in there but the mandarin moves slow and hovers a lot. Harlequin is next on the list.

Would have loved a mated pair but that’s a bit costly.

Been eyeing either the Orphek Natura or the Atlantik for a light upgrade. Any thoughts while they’re still on sale? Current light is just a Hydra32 that covers 24x24. So I think the upgrade would make it eitger 24x32 or 24x48 for a 36x36 tank. I’m ok not reaching the full print. The ATI Stranton would cover great but $1700 is out of my plan. I only think to add a few torches or maybe bta as long as nothing eats it. Just for movement.

Sorry I can’t help you with the eel question, I’ve never had a predatory fish before but it would make a good post. A lot of members with fowler tanks and eels. Harlequin is my favorite shrimp but I can’t handle the work of keeping a chocolate chip starfish just to cut legs off to feed the shrimp.

So last night my power hub tripped. Tank temp dropped to 72.3 degrees. Pressed the reset button and it turned back on. Then tripped a couple minutes later. Retried and same thing. I at least have the main pump plugged into the UPS separately. All is plugged into the ups for now.been using this centropower one for a year with no issues so don’t think it was overpowered. 2 mp40s, 700W heater, Hydra32, Sicce 5.0 and Tunze ATO. Time for a replacement.

I think I saw that happen on Finding Nemo! Sometimes all it takes is talking to it in the wrong tone. They are sensitive. Can’t wait to see the new shrimp, er ah, fish!

I think he opened his mouth when he swam in front of the powerhead. Then afterwards was one big exhale. Wait, I think I left a joint near the tank.
