Hey everyone, this will by my largest tank to date and I am super excited to be sharing my build with you all.

I was originally in the market for a Waterbox 100.3 as I love their build quality and have their 10 gallon cube in my office....That was until i came across the Innovative Marine INT line, specifically the 75INT. Really digging their coast to coast overflow and I've seen their smaller pieces and love the build quality as well.

Nice, the dimensions on this 75 made it the perfect choice for a reef tank. that 24" from front to back...ooh baby, that's nice! :D

What do you guys think, can I do my water test while it's still on the pallet?

I do believe you would be safe to do the water test while on the pallet. The standard pallet can hold 4,600 pounds, so you will be well under the load capacity it can handle :)

@leahfiish you can always search for a stand from another manufacturer. I finally bought the IM nuvo 40 for my office but bought a simple modern stand from Marineland. That stand honestly looks better in my opinion than the IM stand, and the cost was about 1/5 the price.

Following, I want one of these tanks so bad but they're a little out of my budget especially with the stand
They are running a sale until the end of July I believe. I got this one from Bulk reef supply for 20% off I believe. Even financed through paypal for it interest free for 6 months. Why pay it all now, when i can pay it off each month and have more money for corals!!! haha

But like The other Kyle said(yes my name is Kyle too) there are other stand options for sure. I was just really digging the aluminum which is why i went with the APS. Though it has drawbacks for sure with no mounting spots on the inside so ill have to make custom plywood inserts for electrical, dosers, etc.

hmm not a bad idea. ill take a look. i guess i could always use some good ol duct tape too.

I've got a buddy coming over this weekend to help me move it into the basement(I think its too heavy for my wife:cool:) Stand is up and in its desired location. This weekend I've got a Sunday to myself(at least for part of the day) so ill begin doing some things like plumbing, electrical, etc. Since behind the wall is unfinished storage, Id like to take the outlet that is on that wall...(or both) and reverse them so that I have the cords running through the wall. since the basement is bound to turn into a playroom for my daughter, id like the least access to things as possible.

I am tagging along. I have been trying to decide on my next build. Already have an IM 20. I have been looking at the Waterbox and SCA tanks. Why did you decide on the IM?

Honestly, they were on sale and I saved about $500 that I could allocate to other equip. I've always liked the build quality of IM and thought the coast to coast was a cool feature. The APS stand was also nice and provided peace of mind from corrosion and water damage of wood and particle board stands. And I've gotta say, its super nice!

Looks like it was at least attached to a decent quality pallet. I have seen pictures of the Red Sea reefers pallets and they come in busted to pieces all the time.
