Just got the OK to put a reef tank in my office. I have done a 3.7 pico before, but it crashed after a year while I was out of state taking care of my mom in hospice for 6 weeks. This one I wanted to be in my office where I will see it everyday. I will be posting updates and am open to suggestions. Thinking about another lower tier on rock work.

Goals: colorful, enjoyable, clean tank. Higher tech than in past, able to run on its own for the most part. Appearing clean with no mess, everything contained within the unit, as to not tick off coworkers.

Equipment-

IM 20 nuvo fusion

2 ai prime hd (only one up till coral)

tunze ato

17lbs reefsaverdry rock

20lbs caribsea special grade live sand

150w heater

Chemipure blue nano

Filter Floss

Custom stand built by my buddy and I

Livestock:
2 nano (.75in) black ocelaris clowns

Planned future livestock:
yellow watchmen goby/shrimp combo

peppermint shrimp, snails, hermits

Zoas, euphylia, acans, burdsnest, montys and getting my feet wet with acros.

chaeto in extra chamber

Planned dry stock upgrades:
3d diffuser/shroud on the way for both lights

Also: looking for suggestions on some starter sps, going to give the clowns about a month in there to cycle the tank. Their bioload at this size should be next to nothing, but enough to provide ammonia for cycle. Added live sand and biospira
