I have to Hydra 64 over a 4ft 90 gallon tank.

The par at the top of my rocks where I put my SPS is maybe 230. Bottom of tank 100.

I set the height of the lights by the BRS recommendation.

I am considering lowering the height to bring up the par. No SPS out on the sides.

Does this make sense or is it unnecessary?

Do you have the output at maximum on the lights as they are? Lowering will increase the par directly under them, but drastically reduce it elsewhere

What I see is a nice DT with corals that look healthy!
If everyone is doing well, I vote unnecessary.

If you do decide to lower, very very small changes and then leave for 6 months.

Thanks for the input.

I’m going to lower a touch.
