Got a funny story about your tank's livestock? Has a snail been spinning on your water deflector for days? Does your hermits constantly check the same empty snails over and over?

Let me give you a couple recent ones....

Story #1: My maxi-jet with rotating water deflector wasn't spinning...I figured it was unplugged--nope. I went hands-on. I noticed something stuck in the in-take--it was a shell. I'm like, how the heck did that get in there? I pulled the shell off and a hermit was inside! I really don't know how it climbed up and underneath the powerhead...

Story #2: My huge turbo snails love to climb on my chaeto ball which I have attached to the overflow box. Well, today a big snail decided to go out on a little tiny "branch(for lack of a better word)" of cheato and ended up falling and getting stuck upside down between two rocks...I saved him...but one has to wonder if any lessons were learned.....

Got any stories? Keep them short! We hate reading :P

One of my very first fish was a Lawnmower Blenny. Awesome fish, full of personality. After about a year and a half he turned up missing. I looked everywhere in the tank, on the floor even in the overflows...no sign:sad:. About 3 months after I had written him off I was looking in the tank and noticed something moving in the same area that he used to call home. I looked closer...there he was!! A few days later he disappeared again. Again I looked in the overflows, much more carefully this time, and there he was alive and well.

I've found so many fish that wind up in the overflow...my stomatella snails love it in there too.

Lawnmower blennies are just funny anyhow...it looks like they're bashing their head on the glass when they eat :) Good story!
