I'm upgrading to a 90 gallon(Hopefully. Maybe a 58), and I've come up with my rough fish list. Here's what I'm planning. If it's too much, I'll cut a couple off.

-2 Clownfish
-1 Bluespot Jawfish
-2 Helfrich's Firefish
-3 Lyretail Anthias
-2 Flame wrasse (Male and female)
-2 McCosker's Flasher wrasse (male and female)
-1 Yellow Coris/Canary Wrasse
-1 Mandarin Goby
-1 Yasha Goby

So that's 15 fish... none too big though. I'll have a heavy skimmer and a 30-40g fuge. What do you guys think?

Thanks!

Should be cool if your filtration is really good. I have a:
Purple tang
Tomini tang
mckoskers wrasse
2 clowns
bangaii cardinal
pajama cardinal

In my 92 corner. I am going to leave it at this number for now, maybe stop at 10 but no more than that.

If it were my tank i would drop the anthias off the list. Also your fire fish will be very timid at feeding time when the wrasse eat. I had a pair of helfrichi's in with a mystery wrasse and a pair of Hi flames and ended up taking them ot after a few months. They did fine but were a bit frightened of the wrasse when they would feed. Should be a great tank, i love gobies!

I think if I have to, I'll drop the helfrichi's then.

I think it'll be good as long as the filtration is good and you add them slowly. When you add the fish, just watch and see if they get stressed at all.

Alright, thanks guys. I don't intend to stock all my fish quickly, and the mandarin will probably be last. I will be training it to eat frozen also.

i think thats more than fine.. i know someone who has 23 (Big Fish) in a 90 gallon and i know someone that once had 30 fish in a 75gallon (I think thats overboard, but there was no problems)

i have a 90gallon and i plan to have around 20 fish but i have a 30gallon sump and i am getting the vertex skimmer whcih will keep my tank very clean :D

I am the worse person to ask if you are overstocked.....I have 3 triggers in a 72....and they aren't the only fish in there. Matter fact they don't even make up half of my total fish....come to think of it....not even a third.

I agree,
I love the fish more than the corals.
Corals are a bonus for the SW tank..
