Tested the tank yesterday afternoon, a little earlier than I normally would in the day for alk.
Tank tested very good, looks like I need to dial up my alk dosing a little bit. Once I do that I think that Ca consumption will go up and bring it back down to around 450 instead of 500. Overall not bad, with virtually no fish, I am expecting nutrients to go down. we will see where they end up. Salinity is up a little, I think this is because I added some mesh to my weirs to keep the cleaner gobies from going in the overflow and the cardinals from going into the return pump chamber. I have been using 2 test kits to test just in case I have a bad one.

My son got bucked off last Monday night. He landed on his feet, came walking over to me and my wife and asked, "Can I just be done for tonight?" to which his instructor said "Nope! Fall off a horse, you get back on our you end up never riding again." So he got back on and rode for another half hour or so.

Saturday we went to an Outdoor Expo and he picked up a .308 rifle and got hit with the scope when he fired it. Next booth we went to I made him shoot another .308. He complained a little bit I said, "What do we do when we fall off the horse?" He shouldered the rifle and kept his eye the proper distance from the scope this time. Five shots later and he told the guy thank you and told me how much he enjoyed it.
