Its been a rough month

So, last month I discovered an 8 foot deep sink hole I my back yard, 10 feet from the house.
$4000 later, got it fixed but still noticing a couple soft spots.

Well to top that off, my 150 sprung a leak on the bottom tonight. It's a pretty descent drip but I cannot find or see where exactly its coming from since it's on the bottom. I have a bucket in place for now.

I'm devastated. I know this stuff can happen but this tank is only a couple years old (proclear) and to have to drain it and disturb everything has me worried.

I can't get afford another tank right now either.

I don't want to loose everything but this is one of those times I feel like just throwing in the towel.

If it's leaking I would be emptying the tank as soon as possible so you don't have another catastrophe.

Plastic totes from Walmart or similar. With existing live rock you should be able maneuver everything over until getting another display becomes available.
I am sorry this is happening to you. Ya know what they say about rain and pouring.

Yup...this is one bad week. Feel for you, we've all been there handling something unforeseen and expensive and just as you're getting back on track, wham - another thing that's going to be too much time and money.

I'm sure you know your options and what needs to be done. We're here for you if you need any advice. Focus on minimizing risk and damage and getting situation stable as possible. Determine if glass or seal is cause as that will dictate your next actions. Just one step at a time and the big picture will take care of itself.

Ahh, dude. I'm not telling you anything you don't know, but that sucks. This is one of my biggest fears, and I'm so sorry that you're dealing with this right now.

Man I’m sorry to hear about that. I get the pain of a weekend going from bad, to worse in an instant. Maybe you can get a smaller tank for the time being or try and find a used tank somewhere online. J

Dude that sucks. I had a 34g cube seal let go and it was a bad day but a 150. dang. Didn’t help it was in my recording studio and took out $1000+ of equipment with it. At least it’s slow so you can act. If you live somewhere that may have a tractor supply in reasonable distance, a large stock tank could be a decent temporary option until you get a new tank. Super durable and strong. I used a 110g plumbed into my system as a large frag grow out lagoon for several years. Easy to drill for bulkheads and plumbing. I used uniseals and pvc. Good luck and keep on keepin on.

Thankfully, I had great help and some better news today.

Oh wow, I am so glad to hear this. It's still a big job but at least not a breaking the bank big job!
