Where did you read that? My LFS have had the same Kessil A360X and A160WE over their frag tanks for the past 8+ years, lol.
I believe it depends on how high you run it lfs tends to run low intensity on frag tanks to make coral appear puffy.

my AI prime lens actually burned and I had to order a new one

Some insane goni's, favias, and rock nems over there.

I've always wanted a rock nem actually, do you have one?
I had a rock nem years ago. My sister wanted a puffer. Puffer ate rock nem and 4 rhodactis mushrooms.

It is a very pretty piece, I don't know what coral it is. I just know I have had difficulties keeping it happy. I am glad I have something it really likes now.
Looks something between a lobo or acan .
No matter what it is . Very nice !

Add some polyp lab polyp booster about 10-15 mins before .

everything will instantly have feeding tentacles out .
I'll look into that. I've heard about poly lab coral dip. So maybe time to grab a couple more things from them.

I was watching bta growth videos last night, yes I am obsessed. My growth rate compared to these other videos is sad. I watched one where a guy had grown his out for 4 months and it went from 2 inches to what looked like 6 in 4 months. Mine has not grown more than maybe 2 inches in 3 months. Also, he was feeding his shaved shrimp.

Perhaps I need to add some shrimp to the bta's diet? I am blaming lights mostly though.

Wonder if I should raise the bta up a few inches. of course, that leads to the road of the bta moving downward.

And, we are looking rather weird this morning.

my torch is not happy, trying to figure out why. i am betting it is on a full decline now. This is exactly what my last one went through before it just melted. I guess i am not supposed to own indo torches.

After 2 losses, I now know when to medicate a indo torch. The very moment it turns into a ball. It was jelly when i woke up this morning. Same exact symptoms as my last indo. I am beginning to wonder about chemical warfare. Goniopora are said to be very toxic. Maybe, i need to run the carbon? Indos seem to be much more fragile than Aussie torches.

And the bta did another color morph. I'll try to get less blurred pictures tonight. My dear son is rather hyper. Got what I could in a hurry.
This is 100% blue, 20%white

I hope to have better pics for my bta thread. I also forgot to turn water flow off....
